A Good Sunday Read; Make it a Productive Week: How to Get More Done?

1. Stop second-guessing yourself and prevent "action paralysis."

Do you ever overthink something so much that you end up doing nothing? This is known as "action paralysis." We've all been there, trying to make the best or the most "perfect" decision upfront, and as a result, we become overwhelmed and decide on nothing.
Instead, make a decision, schedule it, and commit to it, set it and forget it!
2. Do not occupy yourself with less important tasks while postponing the important ones.

DO NOT allow "I need to do this, or that" take up time and real estate in your head.
This is so important that I have to say it twice. Set it, and forget it! When we allow thoughts of "I need to..." or "I should..." take up room and time in your head we lose willpower, and we end up not taking action at all.
Instead, take care of the most important projects and tasks up front.
Eat that frog! Taking care of the most important things upfront saves you from decision fatigue and allows you the willpower conquer the things that matter most.
3. Be selective with whom and what you say yes to!
Don't say yes to doing something you do not have time to do, especially if this does not align with your goals.
I understand it can be difficult to say no sometimes but as said in airplanes "put on your own mask before helping the minor" in this case before helping others. By helping yourself first you are giving yourself a better chance to be of help and value to others.
Know that times saying NO it's the best thing you can do for someone.
4. Start taking action where it matters with the 2 minute rule.
2 Minute Rule: anything that takes 2 minutes or less must be done immediately. If it takes longer than two minutes, and you don't have the time to get to it right away, schedule it decide when you'll get to it, and when you'll have it done by.
As said earlier having a lot of little to do's floating around in your head will affect your important work, it is always best to work with a clear mind.
but most importantly:
5. It is imperative that you believe in yourself. Know that you are capable of all things!
When starting an important and difficult task Therapist and Behavioral Expert Marisa Peer recommends repeating to yourself "You are enough! Your work is enough! START!"
and that is all friends.
May you Make it a Productive Week and Make Tons of Progress in your Life and Career.
