Make it a Productive Week

So this has been an incredibly good week for me.

I've made TONS of progress these past few days by valuing myself and my work, by taking ACTION, and by applying a few tactics to the way I do things.

So with hopes that you and I can continue to make just as much or more progress in our life and career I've decided to write about it.

Here it goes:

FIRST and most important: "You are enough!"

Remind yourself of this regularly, and you'll start to see how you'll do and react to things around you differently.

Need a why?

NEXT, a tip: DO IT RIGHT OR NOT AT ALL.

I was spending tons of time in little projects and not getting much done. This is when I learned that I must be selective with whom/what I say yes to.

Why say yes to everything and then give people SHIT value? Why are you wasting their time and/or their money? Remember it's your name that stands behind the work you say yes to.

Differentiate the times when saying NO it's the best thing you could do for others. Look this is really hard for me too. I always want to help. Initially, it can feel SO wrong to say no, but when you put things into perspective saying yes to everything and everyone will only drive you bonkers, and you will end up having to compromise the quality of your outcome. If you care, don't do the people you care about a disservice.

"The best thing you could do is work on what is best for YOU now so that in the future you can provide VALUABLE help to others" -Iliana Alvarez

LAST, and best. The conclusion I came to this week that allowed me to stop holding back and start taking action is simple: I'm an anomaly, and that is the best thing that could have ever happened to me. Being an anomaly means that I'll have to work harder, and smarter, and this is a blessing. The "best of the best" were all anomalies.

You are different and that is okay. Forget standards! No box to check for me or you? No problem. We'll make our own boxes to check ✅.

Special thanks to my friend Adrian for helping me so much with this.

May you all make tons of progress in your Life and Career
