Happy Friday LOVES! 😘
Alright, so happy mid day, this will be short and sweet. With us starting the slow carb diet soon I'd like to tell you what you will need now, so in case you don't have these items you can shop for them, or order them this weekend. So here it is:

To start and most importantly you will need: Measuring devices.
Starting a diet without taking your measurements is like planning a trip without a start address. Don't fly blind! You'll regret it later.
As Tim Ferriss put it skip a few lattes and drop a dime to get your data right from the start.
So here is what You Will Need:
1. A Body Weight Scale Luckily I have an old one but if you don't own one and don't want to go to the store here are some options:
BalanceFrom Digital Body Weight Bathroom Scale

EatSmart Products Precision Choice Digital Bathroom Scale: https://amzn.to/2HNGDpr
2. Body Measuring Tape
Some dollar stores have them. You may also order them on Amazon.
I found:
Singer Tape Measure
Retractable Measuring Tape for Cloth Body Measuring: https://amzn.to/2HiJPMQ
3. A Calendar and or Planner
I like to use google calendar, but having something you see and can write on and it's both helpful and motivational. Here are some options:
Office Depot Desk Pad Calendar
You can also get a NotePad or a Planner. For easier planning, I like planners that were designed specifically for weight loss.
In Purple:

Meal Planner: 52-Week Meal Plan
They also have a tri-colored one 😍
Items to make life easier
You know I'm all about hacks tips tricks and shortcuts that make life easier / more productive. So here are two must have items to add to the list that will be of great help
4. Two Water Bottles
Because water intake is an important part of any diet I'm going to suggest that you prepare yourself by getting a water bottle to carry with you and one to leave by your bathroom sink or next to your bed. If you are anything like me, it helps if these are pretty to look at, seal properly, and are easy to drink out of/chug 😁
The dollar store has a nice variety of plastic water bottles. You may also just buy a water bottle from Voss, FIJI, or any other companies whose packaging you find aesthetically attractive.
I loved my glass Voss water bottle, but here's another cool option:
and last
5. Food Containers
Reusable Plastic Food Containers with Lids to Meal-Prep, pack your lunches and take with you to work school etcetera. Here is what I found on Amazon:
and that is all my friends, the five things that will set you on your way. Shop for them, find them, borrow them, I don't care! but get them and yourself ready!
On the next blog, we will be talking food, prepare yourself!
